What is the MRCOG exam?

MRCOG is the three-part membership examination of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG): Part 1 (basic sciences), Part 2 (written) and Part 3 (clinical assessment). It is widely used by UK and international employers as evidence of specialist O&G knowledge.

Who should take an MRCOG preparation course?

How long will it take me to prepare for the MRCOG?

Most working doctors give themselves 12–20 weeks with our programme, studying around 8–10 hours a week. Your pace is flexible — everything is recorded so you can catch up around shifts.

What happens if I fail the exam on my first attempt?

You keep access to the course materials and mentor community for a full year, and we run free strategy sessions for candidates preparing for a re-sit. See our full re-sit policy in your enrolment confirmation.

Do I need to be in the UK to take this course?

No. All teaching happens online and our students join from more than 40 countries. Live sessions are timed in rotating slots so cohorts across Asia, Africa and the Middle East can attend comfortably.

Will I get a certificate at the end?

Yes — a WispGold Certificate of Completion is issued once you finish all modules and pass the internal mock. This is a study certificate, not the Royal College qualification itself.

Does the course include Green-top guideline teaching?

Yes. Every clinical module is mapped to the current RCOG Green-top guidelines and NICE recommendations, because that is exactly how Part 2 and Part 3 questions are framed.

How much does the course cost, and how do I pay?
