Cookies Policy

Last updated: 1 January 2026

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. WispGold uses a deliberately small set of them: enough to keep the site working and to understand which pages help candidates most, and no more. This policy explains each category, how long the cookies last and how to control them.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential: they secure your session, keep you signed in to the student area, remember your place in a lesson and protect our forms against automated abuse. They do not require consent because the site cannot function without them. They expire when your session ends or, for sign-in, after 30 days.

2. Preference cookies

These remember choices you make — such as your country, chosen course filter or dismissed banners — so you do not have to set them again. They typically last up to 12 months and can be cleared at any time.

3. Analytics cookies

We use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to see which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (including UTM campaign parameters on links) and where people drop off in an enquiry. Reports are aggregated and are not used to identify an individual student. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.

4. Third-party cookies

Embedded content such as video players or maps may set their own cookies when you interact with them. We do not control those cookies; please refer to the provider's own policy. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.

5. Managing and withdrawing consent

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a private mode that discards them on exit. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site — for example you may have to sign in on every visit. To withdraw consent to analytics, clear the cookies for wispgold.co.uk and decline when asked again.
